Highlights of Teaching - Mood in Setting:Gallery Walk Activity

This week, grade 10 ELA students learned how to use the five senses to convey mood in setting. Students got into groups of two and wrote about a fictional scenario at school, applying their understanding of the five senses to evoke a specific mood. After they had completed the writing task, their work was posted on the walls around the classroom and students read each others work to guess the intended mood of each piece.
