Math

The Math Department of SWWY consists of 3 members from China,Philippines and Serbia. The Math Department prepares students for higher and advanced level of mathematics which covers from algebra (G10 and G11) to calculus (G12). The curriculum helps the students to be well prepared for the standardized mathematics tests such as SAT, ACT as well as various AP Math subjects, it also serves in teaching students key academic skills they will need in studying abroad. AMC camp is also provided by the Math Department to facilitate the students with advanced math knowledge. Apart from the content of the textbooks, the Math Department is also striving to encourage the students to use software skills such as desmos, Microsoft excel, geogbra, which will help them foster innovative thinking and digital working ability. As a department, we are aiming for inspiring students to build the linkage between Math knowledge and real life, as well as be more adaptive to the dynamic digital world.
