This autumn, admissions officers from fifteen prestigious universities across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia, and Switzerland visited SWWYID, engaging in a series of close-range conversations with students and families. The sessions offered firsthand insights into academic programs, application strategies, and campus experiences, helping students envision their paths toward world-class higher education.
U.S. universities such as Rochester, Syracuse, NYU, Northeastern, Rutgers, and UConn highlighted distinctive strengths—from optics and media to cooperative education and public affairs—illustrating the academic diversity of American institutions. Canadian universities, including McGill, UBC, Waterloo, Western, and Queen’s, emphasized academic rigor, research culture, and employment-oriented policies that continue to attract international families.
Singapore’s National University brought exceptional attention, sharing updates on AI-related programs and competitive admissions at Asia’s top-ranked institution. Meanwhile, universities in Australia and Switzerland showcased industry-linked opportunities in engineering, hospitality management, and Olympic-related sectors, underscoring the global breadth of career pathways.

By bringing admissions officers directly to campus, SWWYID continues to empower families with the latest admissions data and policy updates, breaking information barriers and strengthening students’ confidence in navigating international applications. These exchanges not only broaden students’ horizons but also help them make informed and ambitious decisions for their futures—turning aspiration into direction, and direction into possibility.
