Moving Forward Together: The 2025 Graduation and Adulthood Ceremony

On June 8, as a soft rain fell over the North Campus, the Class of 2025 from the International Division of Shanghai Southwest Weiyu Middle School (SWWYID) gathered for a beautiful Graduation and Coming-of-Age Ceremony. 

It was a day filled with big smiles and some misty eyes as students walked the red carpet with their parents, capturing photos they will treasure forever. The auditorium came alive with music and a touching play called True Friends, which reminded everyone of the late nights and laughter shared over the last three years. 

Principal Chen Yong encouraged the graduates to stay brave in their dreams, while Director Huang Xujuan’s motherly words reminded the students that they always have a home here. The most emotional moment came during the adulthood oath; as students moved their tassels and held their diplomas, you could feel the mix of excitement for the future and the sadness of saying goodbye. 

These years in the "red house" have shaped them from quiet kids into confident young adults ready for the world. As they shared final hugs and signed their names on the memory wall, it was clear that while their time at SWWYID has ended, the friendships and lessons they made here will stay in their hearts forever.
