Highlights of Teaching - Ancient Empires Virtual Map

Students in Grade 10 World History 1 working in groups or individually to produce a virtual map of an Ancient Empire and/or a major city in that empire.  Below is attached the directions and other information for the project.  The students used a variety of resources to create their map, and the final project was then put in a short video to show to their classmates.  The students were given multiple days in class to complete the task, and drew upon class discussion, individual research and collaborative learning.
