ESL

The ESL team is made up of passionate, responsible and caring teachers who are constantly thinking of creative ways that can better improve students’ logic, grammar and rhetoric, which are the three biggest goals of ESL course. ESL is a highly student-centered course, where students will be asked to demonstrate listening, speaking, and writing skills they have learned through fun projects that are incorporated throughout the course.

G10 ESL course provides students with opportunities to read challenging books like Teacher Man, Born a Crime, and the Giver etc. and participate in fun projects such as dubbing and debate in class. All these will greatly benefit G10 students who need to enhance their language proficiency.G11 ESL course is particularly focused on students’ writing skills so that students can handle their academic essays more easily. G11 students are also expected to perform classic drama shows like Romeo and Juliet to showcase their talent.G12 EAS course (English for Academic Success) is specifically aimed at helping senior students boost their academic spoken and written English levels. G12 EAS students will also be engaged in academic topics like cultural shock and cultural diversity, which will be of great help to students when they go abroad.
