Highlights of Teaching - Chemistry:Dyeing project activities
The main goal of this dyeing project is to help students experience a complete project study. The main process is divided into three stages, the project preparation before the experiment, the actual operation in the experiment, and the summary and display after the experiment.
Preparation before the experiment
The prerequisite for better completion of a research project is to make sufficient preparations for the project, including analysis and in-depth research on the topic. After the students got the topic, they were divided into groups. They discussed in the group and selected plants that were easier to dye. Before the project, they conducted more in-depth research on the research mechanism of dyeing. In this process, they learn how to use network resources to find relevant literature materials and learn from them. After confirming their ideas, they will start their experiments. Before that, they are asked to write down the feasibility plan of the experiment, which ensures that students are orderly during the experiment to avoid accidents. The laboratory is dangerous, so students must be well prepared before they can enter the laboratory for experiments. Students must write down the experimental risks they design themselves, and I will study the experimental plans of each group of students one by one to confirm the program is safe.
In experiment
The process of the experiment is interesting, and the students found that no matter how perfect the experiment plan is, the reality will always be unexpected, but this is something that everyone who studies science must face. Repeated experiments are always irritating, and even hard-working experiments may face failures and accidents. At this time, the strength of the team will be revealed. I am very pleased that during the presentation of student projects, many students have expressed their gratitude to other team members in the same group. They can realize the strength of the team and express their gratitude to other students for their help and encouragement. This makes me feel that this project study is a success.
Summary and presentation after the experiment
The experiment ended perfectly. The summary and reflection after the experiment are very important. Students are required to write a report to record and summarize their experimental projects. Repeated experiments will not make success easier. Students need to learn to sum up their experience after each experiment, reflect on their shortcomings, and propose better improvement plans. I believe that in this way, they will achieve better experimental results next time.
The students put in a lot of time and energy throughout the project, and also gained a lot of knowledge and experience. The results of the students should be displayed, so that each student has the opportunity to make a presentation about the project. From students' presentations, they can also learn different ways of thinking about the same topic. The whole presentation was relaxed and pleasant, and the students made great progress in the project.
