Cultural Exploration in Northwest China

From June 18 to 24, 71 teachers and students from the International Department of Southwest Weiyu Middle School undertook a Northwest Cultural Exploration with the theme ‘A Glimpse of a Thousand Years - A Historical and Cultural Journey Every Chinese Should Take.’ This journey aimed to deepen students' understanding of Dunhuang culture and the allure of the Silk Road. The Silk Road, linking the world's four great civilizations, now experiences a revival as multiple countries collaborate to illuminate this historic and magnificent path. Throughout their retracing of the Silk Road, the students from the International Department explored comprehensively, guided by the aspiration to be modern individuals with a global perspective, a national soul, and a Chinese heart.
