Exploring the “Master Class”

In September 2023, Southwest Weiyu Middle School’s International Department welcomed 19 energetic students in the 10E Master Class in the Arts. Alongside their American High School Program and AP courses, these students participate in specialized art classes on Mondays, Thursdays, weekends, and holidays. Paying tribute to Toho Co., Ltd., the ‘Godzilla’ project officially began, guiding students through tasks like Shanghai Bund scene design, Godzilla costume production, poster design, and trailer filming. This holistic approach enables students to explore diverse aspects of design. The Master Class is not just an experiment but a new challenge. Over the next three years, 10E students will immerse themselves in professional courses, nurturing their artistic talents and aligning with international art education to pursue their dreams.
