Think Big, Start Small
The CTB Global Youth Research Innovation Forum, inspired by Harvard's“Harvard Thinks Big” project, is a prominent interdisciplinary research platform for Chinese youth. Recently, seven teams from Southwest Weiyu Middle School advanced to the CTB National Competition, a recognition of their rigorous preparation in research methods, survey design, analysis, and paper writing. Despite challenges, students’ commitment to innovation guided them through.
During the three-day competition—featuring exhibitions, presentations, and Q&A—papers from teams with three Southwest Weiyu students were selected for the CTB Collection, while papers from two teams ranked in the top 10%, earning invitations to the CTB Harvard Global Forum in April.Participating in this event fosters collaboration, resilience, and qualities essential for university and career success. We hope students will continue to ask, "How can we contribute to a better world?" and amplify the voices of Chinese youth globally.
