HOSA | SWWYID Participate in 2024 China Conference
Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is a U.S. Department of Education-endorsed platform, recognized as a key incubator for biohealth leaders, aiming to spark students' interest, enhance skills, and prepare talent for the medical field.
This spring, 12 teachers and students from SWWYID traveled to Qingdao for the 2024 HOSA BioHealth Future Leaders Challenge China Regionals, part of a tiered competition with regional, national, and global levels covering diverse biohealth topics. Students in various teams researched, crafted surveys, developed short films, and studied intensely in preparation.
Eleven students advanced to the national round, earning two silver and one bronze medal, with the silver medalists qualifying for the global competition. All participants achieved top 30% national rankings, securing alternate global spots. We hope these students continue their pursuit of breakthroughs in life sciences and medicine. researched, discussed, and consulted teachers for insights. Ultimately, 11 students advanced to the national round, with three winning two national silver medals and one bronze. The silver medalists also qualified for the global competition.
Notably, all participants achieved top 30% national rankings, securing alternate spots for the global stage. We hope these students continue to excel, diving deeper into the world of biology and contributing to new breakthroughs in life sciences and medicine.
