Chasing Dreams Together

Before the final exams of the second semester of the 2023 academic year, SWWYID students from the Physics class, led by teachers Jessica and Chloe, participated in an engaging activity at Tongji University’s School of Aerospace and Mechanics.

Guided by graduate students, they explored a model aircraft exhibition, learned about aerospace knowledge, and engaged in hands-on launcher design. Students admired various aircraft models, including a myth about the origins of the parachute.

In the lab, they observed the internal structures of aircraft and experimented with creating unique launchers. Yang Pu’s group designed the lightest launcher, winning first place. This experience deepened their understanding of aerospace and ignited their passion for scientific exploration.
