A New Pathway Begins: Dual A Curriculum Launch

Beginning September 2026, SWWYID will introduce the A-Level curriculum to complement its established U.S. High School + AP program, forming a unified “AP + A-Level” Dual A Curriculum. The initiative expands academic choice, enriches personalized learning, and offers students diverse pathways to world-class universities.

Drawing on 32 years of institutional experience and more than a decade of international education practice, the Dual A model embodies the school’s holistic philosophy. Rooted in Chinese culture and values, the program builds cultural confidence while pairing rigorous AP and A-Level coursework with individualized development tracks. Students will progress through three layers: academic strengthening, competency enrichment, and personalized enhancement.

Strategic partnerships with leading British independent schools will provide strong academic alignment and admissions advantages. Students may seamlessly transition from IGCSE to A-Level in Grade 11 and apply as “home students” in the U.K. admissions system.
